-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wettingen, the 24. October 1986
Differences from V1.5c to V1.6a
-------------------------------
1) Pressing <Help> shows a menu bar, the actual dialogs are the same
as in V1.5c:
-pressing the left mouse button
-selecting |Playback...|
-selecting |Send... |
-selecting |Receive... |
-selecting |Quit Menu |
returns you to terminal mode. The big advantage of this change, is
that it allows you to run desk accessorys from UniTerm.
2) Tektronix alpha mode: the 4010 can display the top line of text
outside of its 1024*780 size drawing area, UniTerm clips the
top line (sorry).
3) 'LF','CR','US' and 'ESC' end bypass mode, the sequence 'ESC''ENQ''ESC'
'SUB' is processed correctly.
4) All padding characters in 4010 mode are ignored correctly.
5) Ignore Deletes mode user setable, but not stored in setup file (yet).
6) <Alternate><O> allows you to select Raw or Translated capture mode
Default is translated capture, with 'DEL' and 'NUL' ignored. The
translation table has following structure:
256 lines of
'decimal ASCII value' 'comment'
the line number corresponds to the ASCII value to be
translated, -1 as translated value forces the character
to be ignored.
This feature was already present in V1.5c, but was cause of a
bug in the file capture function.
7) The Tektronix Status Report termination string can be set
seperate from the GIN Report termination string, this is
not stored in the setup file, but set to the GIN
termination string at the beginning of a session.
Warning: Switching to 4010 mode with the terminal settings dialog
will reset the vector buffer, but not clear the screen!
